UCSF Radiology Welcomes Two New Faculty Members

We are pleased to welcome two new faculty members to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging.

In August, neuroradiologist Weiya Mu, MD, joined as an assistant professor in Clinical Radiology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG), and Jonathan Friedman, MD, joined as an assistant professor in Clinical Radiology in the Musculoskeletal Imaging Division.

In his welcome, department Chair Christopher Hess, MD, PhD, noted, “Dr. Mu comes to us from Stanford, where she recently completed a two-year neuroradiology fellowship. She brings significant emergency radiology experience to our growing ZSFG division. Dr. Friedman completed his MSK fellowship with us, where he excelled as a teacher. Both new faculty members have strong records as leaders who are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
