The UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is pleased to announce that Michael Ohliger, MD, PhD, will serve as Modality Director for MRI effective January 1, 2023. Dr. Ohliger joined the department as an assistant professor in 2013, after completing his diagnostic radiology residency and abdominal imaging fellowship here at UCSF.

As Modality Director, Dr. Ohliger will provide administrative and programmatic oversight of MRI operations, capital projects and quality and safety.
