The UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is pleased to announce that Jaehoon Shin, MD, PhD has joined our faculty as an assistant professor in residence starting on July 1, 2022. Dr. Shin is a 2022 graduate of our Interventional Radiology Fellowship program.
“Dr. Shin brings outstanding expertise to our Interventional Radiology section. We are delighted that Dr. Shin has chosen to begin his career at UCSF. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Shin to our department,” says Christopher Hess, MD, PhD, UCSF Radiology chair.
Dr. Shin earned his MD at Seoul National University, South Korea in 2008, followed by a PhD at Johns Hopkins University in 2016. His clinical training includes an internship year at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore followed by a diagnostic radiology residency concurrently with early specialization in interventional radiology (ESIR)…
