Ronald Zagoria, MD, award the Gold Medal by the Society of Abdominal Radiology The UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging congratulates Ronald Zagoria, MD on his receipt of a 2022 Gold Medal from the Society of Abdominal Radiology (SAR). Dr. Zagoria is a professor of Clinical Radiology, chief of Abdominal Imaging and vice chair of Clinical Affairs at UCSF in Radiology.

The SAR Gold Medal honors lifetime achievements of society members who have made exceptional and lasting contributions to the field of abdominal radiology. Dr. Zagoria specializes in diagnostic abdominal imaging with special expertise in image-guided tumor ablation for kidney cancer. His interests in patient care include urologic oncology, urolithiasis, and infertility.
