This year marked the 19th year that the Margulis Society, the UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging’s alumni organization, hosted a career evening for residents and fellows. Erik Gaensler, MD, departmental alumnus, physician with Bay Imaging Consultants and longtime Margulis Society board member, served as the moderator. He opened the evening by reminding the panelists that they would recall being at the same event as audience members when they were trainees, and added, “I hope that current trainees will someday be on the panel.”
The Margulis Society conceived the career evening to provide trainees with an opportunity to learn from Radiology alumni in both private practice and academic fields.
