Public Health and Dementia: The BOLD Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act

The passage of the Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act marked a significant moment in the history of dementia public health and policy nationwide. On Tuesday, April 26 from 1:30-2 p.m. ET, join the Alzheimer’s Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Alzheimer’s Disease Program to learn more about the importance of this legislation and the ways it is changing the landscape of public health.

This webinar will discuss how this legislation came to be in the context of public health action on dementia. We will highlight aspects of programs funded through National Healthy Brain Initiative Components A and B and BOLD award, including the BOLD Public Health Centers of Excellence and BOLD Public Health Programs awardees at health departments across the country. Current resources for public health professionals to take action in their own states, counties, and cities will be shared.
