At the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference® 2014 (AAIC®) in Copenhagen, Claudia L. Satizabal, Ph.D., of the Boston University School of Medicine discusses new data from the Framinham Heart Study showing decline in new cases of dementia over four successive time periods. During the same time periods, the researchers saw improvements in education and better overall management of heart health risk. However, there was an increase in obesity and diabetes.
