The UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is pleased to announce that Jesse Courtier, MD has accepted the position of chief, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco Pediatric Radiology, January 1, 2022. Dr. Courtier has served as interim chief for the section since 2020.
Dr. Courtier has a long record of distinguished service to the department. Since 2014, he has served as Pediatric Radiology Fellowship Director and Residency Site Director of Training for Mission Bay. He is a member of numerous departmental committees. Over the last year, he has also played an important operational role in our health system as Clinical Director for UCSF Mission Bay Hospitals. A strong advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion, he has participated as a RIDR mentor in the department.
