Nicholas Fidelman, MD, Steps into Role of Interim Chief of Interventional Radiology

Nicholas Fidelman, MD has graciously agreed to serve as interim chief of Interventional Radiology at the UC San Francisco Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging following the departure of Maureen Kohi, MD who accepted a position as the Ernest H. Wood Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiology at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

“I look forward to Nick’s leadership during this transition period, which will include a national search,” says Christopher Hess, MD, PhD, Alexander R. Margulis Distinguished Professor and Chair of UCSF Radiology.

Dr. Fidelman came to UCSF in 1998 as a medical student, completing his MD in 2002. He went on to do his residency at UCSF as well as his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He joined the faculty in 2008.
